The Supreme Court on Friday issued notices to comedian Kunal Kamra and cartoonist Rachita Taneja in contempt of court petitions filed against them. Petition was filed against Kamra for his tweets criticising the top court and its judges for granting bail to Republic TV editor Arnab Goswami. Taneja faces contempt petition over her caricatures published in 'Sanitary Panels' social media handles about the judiciary. The court has exempted both from personal appearance. Last month, Attorney General K K Venugopal had granted consent for contempt action against the two.
