UK will not vaccinate its entire population of roughly 67 million people, a Financial Times report said on Monday. Kate Binghan, who is the head of the government’s vaccine task force said that less than half the UK’s population can expect to be vaccinated against Covid-19. She added that that rather than vaccinating everyone, the aim is to vaccinate everyone at risk and the government targeting 30 million people. She made it clear that there will be no vaccination of people under 18, as it is an adult-only vaccine which is for people over 50. She also added that the priority and focus is to vaccinate health workers, care home workers and vulnerable.
