Covid-19 vaccinations will be done throughout the month of April, including on gazetted holidays, at all public and private sector centres, the government announced as it tries to expand the vaccination drive and encourage more people to the take the jab.
The inoculation drive moved into its next phase on Thursday with the govt opening up vaccinations for anyone above 45 years of age, irrespective of co-morbidities.

Opposition leaders and medical experts have been urging the govt to open up vaccinations for all age groups amid a surge in positive Covid-19 cases.
