Crime branch takes wrestler Sushil Kumar to Haridwar

2-time Olympic bronze medallist Sushil Kumar, who has been arrested in connection with the murder of wrestler Sagar Dhankar, was taken to Haridwar for investigation by the Delhi Police crime branch.

Police will investigate the tainted Indian wrestler's hideouts and the people who helped him when he was absconding. Delhi Police sources told the Times of India that Sushil had gone to Haridwar first after the murder of Sagar Dhankar. The crime branch will try to recover the wrestler's phone, which he had dumped somewhere in Haridwar. The police is yet to recover the clothes he was wearing at the time of the crime.

Police had identified 13 people who were involved in the murder case, out of which 9 have been arrested.
