In a shocking crime reported from the national capital, a woman working as a domestic help was allegedly stripped and beaten up by her employers.

The 43-year-old reportedly claimed that she was humiliated and thrashed to make her confess that she stole some jewellery at the house. All this was done at the behest of an occultist, as per Delhi police who found out about the case on 10 August when the domestic help was admitted at a hospital after consuming a poisonous substance.

One woman was arrested in connection with the case on 15 August, and police are searching for the others.
