Amid growing outrage over the death of a woman after allegedly being dragged under a car, details of the First Information Report (FIR) filed by the Delhi Police have emerged.

The FIR reportedly says that the men accused in the case confessed to being drunk. They hit the woman's scooty with their car and she fell. The men panicked and tried to flee, the FIR reportedly says.

The woman's body got tangled in the undercarriage of the car, and it was dragged for 13 km before the men inside the car realised it, according to police.

The accident took place at 2 am on 1 January 2022, and the FIR was filed at 5 am after police found the body while investigating the abandoned scooty. All 5 occupants of the car have been arrested.
