In a crime reminiscent of the Shraddha Walkar murder case in India, body parts allegedly belonging to a fashion model were found in a refrigerator in Hong Kong.

Police arrested model and influencer Abby Choi's ex-husband on 25 February 2023 on murder charges.

The body parts were found a day earlier, when police launched a manhunt after Abby was missing for several days. A skull believed to be hers was found in a cooking pot, while other body parts were stored in a fridge in a house in the village of Tai Po, close to the border with mainland China.

Cops also filed murder charges against the model's former father-in-law and brother-in-law. Abby's former mother-in-law has been accused of perverting the course of justice.

Abby reportedly had financial disputes worth tens of millions of Hong Kong dollars with her ex-husband and his family.
