Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar has apparently challenged Punjab Chief Minister's claims that he has been detained in USA's California.
The gangster was allegedly involved in the murder of musician Sidhu Moose Wala in May 2022.
In an unverified interview to a journalist on YouTube, a man claiming to be Goldy Brar said that he has not been detained, and he is not even in America.
Days earlier, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann had claimed that the gangster has been detained in California, and will "definitely be brought to India".
Mann has been under fire from the opposition parties over his claim of the detention of Brar.

Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, popularly known as Sidhu Moose Wala, was shot dead in Punjab's Mansa district on May 29.
Satinderjeet Singh alias Goldy Brar, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, claimed responsibility for the singer's brutal murder. A red corner notice, which allows the arrest and detention of a fugitive abroad, was issued against him.
Moose Wala's murder was in retaliation to youth Akali leader Vicky Middukhera's killing that took place last year.
