Kashmir: gang using toy guns to rob people busted, say police

A gang allegedly using toy guns to rob people has been busted in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar.

6 members of the alleged gang were arrested from Zakura area on 26 December 2022. Police said that the gang used toy pistols, walkie-talkie sets, and other props to threaten people and extort money.

The police did not specify the number of cases in which the gang was involved. Two vehicles used in the commission of crimes by the gang were seized.
