Missing UP woman's chopped body found in sugarcane field, identified by slippers & clothes

In yet another shocking crime against women, an 18-year-old was found murdered in a sugarcane field in Uttar Pradesh. The victim's body had been chopped, and the family alleged rape.

The body was in such a state that the victim's father identified it by clothes and slippers. The crime took place in Balrampur.

The victim had been missing since June 6, and the remains were found on June 11 in decomposed state. The family claimed that acid had been poured on the body to make it unidentifiable.

Police have reportedly arrested a man named Santosh Verma in connection with the crime. The motive behind the crime is not clear yet.
