Aaftab Poonawala, who has been accused of murdering his girlfriend, has reportedly refused to meet family members while in jail.
The superintendent had briefed Aaftab about visitation and phone usage rules in the jail, but the alleged murderer said that he does not wish to meet or talk to anyone, a report in the Hindustan Times said.
He is currently lodged in Delhi's Tihar jail. The prison allows meetings with family or friends twice a week.
But first the prisoner has to submit the names of the visitors for verification. Poonawala has not given any names yet.

The 28-year-old has been accused of killing his live-in partner Shraddha Walkar, and then chopping her body into 35 pieces and storing them in a refrigerator at their home. He later disposed of the body one piece at a time, according to police.
