A woman in America has been arrested for allegedly setting her boyfriend's house on fire. 23-year-old Senaida Soto allegedly broke into her boyfriend's home in Bexar County, Texas, at around 2 am on 20 November 2022.
Earlier, Soto had video-called her boyfriend, but another woman had answered the call. Soto didn't know that the woman was her boyfriend's relative.
In a jealous rage, Soto allegedly stole items from her partner's house before setting his couch on fire. The fire spread, causing the house to go up in flames, and causing damages worth over $50,000.
Soto also reportedly texted her boyfriend while the house was on fire and said, "I hope your house is okay."

The alleged arsonist was arrested on 21 November 2022 on charges of Burglary Habitation - Force, 2nd degree felony, and Arson, 1st degree felony.
