In a major revelation regarding the death of a woman after she was allegedly dragged under a car for many kilometres, the accused have reportedly admitted that they knew she was under their vehicle.

The men accused of killing 20-year-old Anjali Singh told police that they realised that her body was being dragged by their car, but didn't stop out of fear, according to sources quoted by NDTV.

Instead, they drove in the same area to make the body fall off.

The incident occurred on 1 January 2023, when the men allegedly hit Anjali's scooty with their Baleno car. Anjali's body is believed to have gotten tangled in the car's undercarriage and was dragged for around 13 km, according to police.
