After being criticised for lack of leadership during the second wave of the pandemic, the Bharatiya Janata Party is set to course correct its image.

The party has been slammed as its leaders were perceived to be missing in helping people as they suffered due to surge in Covid-19 cases.

BJP president JP Nadda urged his party members to be “seen” and the need to serve the people during their moments of pain and struggle.

In a letter to all BJP-ruled states, Nadda stressed that party workers should dedicate themselves to serve people instead of waiting to thank the party for their work.

Following the motto ‘Seva Hi Sangathan’, the BJP has also cancelled all functions to celebrate seven years of the Narendra Modi government on May 30.
