Responding to a remark from Cameron Bancroft that bowlers were aware of the tampering in the infamous sandpaper gate scandal, top Australian bowlers have dismissed the claims. In a joint statement by Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc and Nathan Lyon, the bowlers have said that it's disappointing to see that their integrity has been questioned by some journalists and past players. The statement also said that the bowlers did not know a foreign substance was taken onto the field to alter the condition of the ball. The revelation from Bancroft has opened a can of worms as many former Aussie greats are demanding a fresh probe into the incident which rocked the world of cricket 3 years ago in South Africa.
