As the debate over DC vs Marvel continues, the former has landed itself in hot soup with Indians.

DC's latest animated film Injustice released on October 19th starring iconic characters Superman and Wonder Woman. A clip of the movie has since gone viral where Superman called the area of Kashmir ‘disputed’. The film is an adaptation of the video-game series of the same name that also spawned comic books.

The clip shows the Krypton superhero in several action sequences with a voice-over saying he along with Wonder Woman destroyed 'every piece of military equipment', and declared Kashmir an 'arms-free' zone.

Desi Twitter immediately took to the micro blogging site to call out the makers of the film, using the hashtag #AntiIndiaSuperman. Users said that the makers added to an anti India rhetoric and accused the film of spreading propaganda against Kashmir. Many also asked for the makers to delete the section from the film.

The clip also showed the superheroes standing witness to a peace deal between Israel and Palestine.
