'He was so shattered, he was cornered, and then I do not know where did he go'

are the words of a heartbroken mother whose son has been missing since June 2nd.

Aditya Tiwari, a Delhi-based rapper who goes by the stage name of MC Kode had been facing heavy trolling for the past 2 weeks, which his mother says became overwhelming for the young rapper.

Before he went missing, the 23-year-old rapper who had earned quite a name for himself in the entertainment industry posted a worrisome cryptic story on Instagram. The message that Tiwari wrote from in front of the isolated Yamuna bridge suggested that he was going to end his life. 'A relief from my own existence is gonna serve as a punishment', wrote Tiwari in his alleged last social post.

The severe backlash came through his way after a 6-year-old rap battle resurfaced on the internet, last month. In the rap battle, MC Kode used foul language for the Hindu sacred scriptures. This obviously did not go well with the social media users, who not only abused him, spewed hate at him, but also threatened him for his and his family's life.

Apparently, a troll went on to announce a reward of rs. 50,000 for anyone who would slap Kode 20 times and also record it!

Realising his mistake, my son immediately apologised to the people but that was of no avail, says Tiwari's mother who has now lodged a kidnapping case with the Delhi Police.

Forced by the harsh criticism, Tiwari took down all his music and rap battles from the internet and told one of his Mumbai-based rapper friends through Instagram, I am leaving this body, you guys continue the legacy.
