The time to take Covid-19 precautions seriously again seems to have returned in the national capital.
On April 17, Delhi reported 517 new Covid cases, recorded over a period of 24 hours. A day earlier, the capital city had seen 461 new Covid infections.
Meanwhile, a survey reportedly found that the number of people in the National Capital Region reporting someone contracting Covid in their social network increased by 500% in the last 15 days. The survey was reportedly conducted by LocalCircles.
However, Delhi's positivity rate went down from 5.33% on April 16 to 4.21% on April 17. Positivity rate is the proportion of samples which turn out to be positive as compared to the total number of tests done.
