Weeks after the Centre released guidelines for the reopening of schools by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal told reporters on Saturday, that the possibility of reopening schools in the capital has been ruled out for now.
Universities and schools across the country have been closed since March 16, when the Centre announced a countrywide shutdown as part of the measures to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus.
Schools were allowed to call the students from classes 9 to 12 in for classes from September 21, as per previous guidelines but the Delhi government had decided against it.
