Dibrugarh: Locals Nab Drug Peddler

Locals of Moran Piyali Nagar, Dibrugarh apprehended a drug peddler when he had come to the locality to deliver some drugs to youths of the area. The incident took place last night. The peddler identified as 25-year-old Sariffuddin Sheikh of Khumtai was handed over to the police. Police recovered brown sugar, cannabis (ganja), and other banned drugs and cash from his possession. The residents of the area have now requested the police to crack the drugs racket which seems to be spreading its tentacles in the area.
