For days people have been wondering who is the bald man in a viral selfie with Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan in NCB custody after the cruise drug bust.

The NCP has alleged that the man is a private detective, KP Gosavi, and has questioned why he and a BJP leader were present during the NCB raid.

Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik said that BJP vice president Manish Bhanushali was also seen in visuals of the raids. This, he said, proved a BJP hand in "maligning Maharashtra with a fake drug bust".

Manish Bhanushali refuted the allegation and told news agency ANI, that the BJP has nothing to do with the arrests. Bhanushali added that he received information on October 1 that a drugs party was to be held and "was with the NCB officers at the ship for more information."

The NCB named both Gosavi and Bhanushali as "independent witnesses" to the raids. The anti-drugs agency insisted that its procedure has been and continues to be legally and professionally transparent and unbiased.
