The NCB officer leading the Mumbai drugs bust case against Aryan Khan has filed a affidavit in the court alleging that he is being targeted.

Sameer Wankhede appeared before a special court on Monday morning and informed the court that his family, including his sister and late mother, are also being targeted in the case. He also told the court that he is ready for any probe against him.

NCP's Nawab Malik, who has been accusing the NCB officer of impropriety, tweeted a document related to Wankhede's birth on Monday morning and alleged forgery.

His statement comes a day after witness Prabhakar Sail in his affidavit levelled allegations of corruption against the NCB officer. Sail had said he heard his boss KP Gosavi and a Sam D'Souza talk about ₹8 crore pay-off to Sameer Wankhede.

The NCB has meanwhile filed an affidavit in court saying the fact that the witness filed his affidavit before submitting it to the court shows he has turned hostile.
