The University of Delhi has done it again, the highest cut-off has gone up to 100% for admission to Jesus and Mary College’s psychology course.
While the unreserved cut-off is 99% for students who do not have the psychology as best of four would need 100% marks.
For other popular courses at the premium college, students would need about 99%
marks.
Even for the non-popular courses, the minimum criteria is above 95%. For popular courses, including psychology, economics, physics, English among others competition remains tough.
Those who have marks equal to or more than the cut off will be eligible to seek admissions. The admission process will start from October 4.
With a record-high number of applications — 438696 — and an increase in the number of 90% scorers in class 12 board exams, the cut-off score was expected to go up.
This is the first time the list will be released in October. As of now, there are only five lists scheduled to be released. Those who would not be able to make it to the first will have to wait for the second list and so on.
Due to the high number of applications, seats are expected to be filled sooner. If seats will be left vacant, more lists will be released.
