Filmmaker Denis Villeneuve's 'Dune' earned $130 million worldwide at global box office, as per latest reports. The film was reportedly made on a budget of $165 million.

Based on Frank Herbert’s celebrated sci-fi classic novel, 'Dune' has also been praised by critics.The film has scored 83 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes

'Dune' is set in the distant future in which there is an interstellar society. The story follows, Paul Atreides, played by actor Timothée Chalamet, a brilliant and gifted young man born into a great destiny beyond his understanding, he travels to the most dangerous planet in the universe to ensure the future of his family and his people.

The movie features an all-star ensemble cast with big Hollywood stars like Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgard, Dave Bautista, Zendaya, Jason Momoa among others.

'Dune' released on October 22 in India.
