Lack of organic content turns soil into sand, which in turn causes food & water scarcity. Depleted soils cannot absorb & regulate water flows.

The Save Soil Movement will work toward this by:

  1. Turning the world attention to our dying soil.
  2. Inspiring about 3.5 billion people (60% of the world’s electorate of 5.26 billion) to support policy re-directions to safeguard, nurture and sustain soils.
  3. Driving national policy changes in 193 nations toward raising and maintaining the organic content of soils to a minimum of 3-6%.

In a one-of-a-kind campaign, Sadhguru has been journeying over 30,000 km across 24 nations on a motorcycle, to gather support of over 3.5 billion people.

The initiative is in collaboration with the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), which is a key partner of the Save Soil movement, collaborating in multiple aspects, including scientific knowledge, communications, and outreach.

Already, thousands of eminent figures, including scientists, celebrities, policy experts, and even heads of states are coming together with this common goal to restore soil health and rekindle our bond with Earth.
