With the success of his recent recent, 'Scoop', director Hansal Mehta is back in the spotlight once again. The show streaming on Netflix in India is based on a memoir by Mumbai based journalist Jigna Vora who was arrested for the murder of another journalist J Dey in 2011. She was sent to prison but was later acquitted. On The India Story, Hansal Mehta tells Vikram Chandra about the stories and characters he selects to make movies and why he feels it is important to tell stories that are often left untold.
