In a display of strength, leaders of the INDIA alliance gathered at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan on March 31 to express solidarity with arrested Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren. Urging people to ‘save the constitution,’ leaders of top opposition parties urged people to vote out BJP in the Lok Sabha polls to choose ‘democracy over dictatorship.’ The BJP slammed the opposition, saying it was not a ‘save-democracy’ rally but an event to ‘save family’ and ‘hide corruption.’
