Actor Adah Sharma, whose latest release ‘The Kerala Story’ has been embroiled in controversy, visited a temple on her birthday on May 11 and thanked her fans for their support. She shared that the holy visit was the 'secret' behind her energy amidst calls to ban the film.
Taking to Instagram, Adah wrote, ‘The secret of my energy. The energy that allows me to accept bouquets and face bans. Thank you all of you for making me yours. #shivtandav #shivtandavstrotam #adahsharma.’
In the clip shared by the actor, she is seen chanting prayers next to a Shiv ling.

The Sudipto Sen directorial, which was released on May 5, also stars Yogita Bihani, Siddhi Idnani and Sonia Balani. The film has already grossed ₹68.86 crore at the domestic box office.
Adah made her film debut with Vikram Bhatt's ‘1920’ in 2009. She has also acted in the films like ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’, ‘Commando 2’ and ‘Commando 3’. Before ‘The Kerala Story’, she made a cameo in ‘Selfiee’, starring Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi.
