Amitabh Bachchan birthday: 'Kalki 2898 AD' makers release superstar's first look from sci-fi film

It is megastar Amitabh Bachchan's birthday and, on the occasion, makers of his upcoming mythological-sci-fi epic Kalki ‘2898 AD’ have released the first look poster featuring him.  

About the first look poster
Big B is celebrating his 81st birthday on October 11 and on this day, filmmakers shared the poster unveiling the legendary actor's character, that seems to be a sage. In the poster, light is seen falling on Big B’s head. He stands upright rocks on his either side. He has a heavy beard, and he has covered his mouth with a cloth that just leaves his eyes visible. “It’s an honor to be part of your journey and witness your greatness. Happy Birthday @SrBachchan sir 🙏 – Team #Kalki2898AD,” the official handle of Vyjayanthi Movies tweeted. 

About the film
The Nag Ashwin directorial also stars Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. Produced by C Aswani Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies, it also stars Disha Patni and his scheduled to release in 2024.  
 
The film was earlier named, ‘Project K’ and its teaser was premiered at the 2023 San Diego Comic Con. The teaser has garnered positive response and fans are excited for the science fiction film.  

Big B's upcoming movies
Amitabh Bachchan will next be seen in the upcoming film Ganpath, which stars Tiger Shroff Kriti Sanon in the lead roles.
