Amy Schumer, who was initially cast as Barbie, has finally shared her thoughts on the film and its success.
Taking to Instagram, Schumer shared a picture of herself in hat and wrote, “Really enjoyed Barbie and Oppenheimer”. She also added how she felt she should have played Emily Blunt's character in Christopher Nolan's 'Oppenheimer'. She jokingly said, 'Do better Hollywood.'
In 2016, Schumer was cast as Barbie in an earlier version of the film but due to some scheduling conflicts, withdrew from the project in 2017.
Schumer appeared on ‘Watch What Happens Live’ last month and expressed her excitement for the Margot Robbie-starrer. “There’s like a new team behind it and it looks like it’s very feminist and cool, so I will be seeing that movie.” She added, “I can’t wait to see the movie, I think it looks awesome.”
