Bhojpuri singer Nisha Upadhyay suffers bullet injuries during celebratory fire

Bhojpuri singer Nisha Upadhyay was reportedly hit by a bullet in Bihar's Saran where she was performing live at a cultural event. The folk singer has been admitted to Max hospital in Patna after suffering an injury to her left thigh. She is said to be in a stable condition.

Talking about the incident, India Today quoted a police officer saying, 'We received information about the incident but no written complaint has been filed yet. We are investigating how the gunshots were fired and who were all involved in the firing.'

Investigation in the case is underway.

Nisha Upadhyay hails from Gaur Basant village in Saran district and lives in Patna. Some of her popular songs include 'Le Le Aaaye Coca Cola', 'Navkar Mantra', 'Dholida Dhol Re Vagad', and 'Hasi Hasi Jaan Marela'.

She is often seen performing at several cultural events.
