Filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra's comeback film '12th Fail' currently has the entire nation talking. The film, which was released in theatres in October last year, has received rave reviews from audiences from the word go.
After becoming a sleeper hit in 2023, the film is now trending on OTT. It has also become India's highest-rated film on IMDb, with a score of 9.2, joining 'Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama'.
Starring Vikrant Massey and Medha Shankar in the leading roles, '12th Fail' has impressed cinemaholics, along with our Bollywood stars, who cannot sing enough praise of the film.
Hrithik Roshan, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming action film, 'Fighter', is the latest to join the bandwagon. Also in awe of the film is Vijay Deverakonda, who has now penned a note praising the film.
Hrithik Roshan praises '12th Film'
Hrithik Roshan snuck in some time from his busy schedule to watch '12th Fail' and couldn't help but praise the VVC directorial. He took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to write a heartwarming note, calling it a 'masterclass' and adding he was "deeply inspired" by it.
"I finally saw the 12th fail. It’s quite a masterclass in filmmaking. Above everything else, I was inspired by the use of sound and the role sound effects play in enhancing moments. Brilliant performances. Mr. Chopra, what a movie! Thank you for the brilliance. I am deeply inspired by this one," he wrote.
Vijay Deverkonda thanks the '12th Fail' team
Vijay Deverakonda poured in his heartfelt emotions in his note praising the '12th Fail'. Taking to X, he wrote, "12th fail. To every mother, father, and grandmother fighting for their kids futures To every Dushyanth sir who inspires another. To every friend like Pandey and Gauri Bhai: To every blessing that is Shradda, And to every Manoj out there, my heart and prayers go out to you.
