Aamir Khan, Bollywood's 'Mr. Perfectionist,' opened up about his first heartbreak during a social media interaction to promote the song 'Phir Na Aisi Raat Ayegi' from his forthcoming film 'Laal Singh Chaddha.' In a live interaction with some of the talented young Indian creators, Aamir Khan shared that his first love was a close friend, who had no idea about his feelings.
Narrating the story, Aamir said, 'This was the time when I used to play tennis, she was also in the same club with me. One fine day, I found out that she had left the country with her family. I was very heartbroken, and the tricky part is that she did not even know. Bas… ek hi cheez achhi hui ki, main bohot accha tennis player ban gaya. After some years, I played tennis in state-level championships and became a state-level champion!'
'Laal Singh Chaddha,' a remake of the Hollywood film 'Forrest Gump,' is directed by Advait Chandan. The film, which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Chaitanya Akkineni in pivotal roles, has been produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Kiran Rao, and Viacom18 Studios.
'Laal Singh Chaddha' will release in theatres on August 11.
