Aamir Khan’s mother Zeenat Hussain suffers heart attack, admitted to hospital: Report

Actor Aamir Khan’s mother Zeenat Hussain was reportedly hospitalised at Mumbai's Breach Candy hospital after she suffered a massive heart attack during Diwali.

According to ETimes report, Aamir’s mother suffered a heart attack during Diwali at her Panchagani house and the actor was with her at that time. As per sources, he immediately flew her to Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai and has been by her side since then. The other members of the family have been visiting her.

A source informed ETimes that Aamir's mother’s vitals are now stable and she is responding well to the treatment.

Aamir and the family have ensured that details of this alarming episode are not made public, and they want to deal with this situation with the least amount of conjecture and speculation.

Aamir Khan had celebrated his mother’s birthday in June this year. His ex-wife Kiran Rao and son, Azad Rao Khan, also attended the celebration.  

Earlier, Aamir had revealed that he regrets not being able to give time to his family. In an episode with ‘Koffee With Karan’, he stressed on the importance of family and stated that he makes more efforts now to spend time with his mother and children. 

On the work front, Aamir Khan was last seen in Advait Chandan directorial ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ alongside Kareena Kapoor. The film is a remake of 1994 Hollywood film ‘Forrest Gump’ starring Tom Hanks.
