Actor Abhay Deol, who is known to speak his heart out, has reacted to the ongoing controversy surrounding Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film 'Pathaan'.
Speaking with India Today, the actor said 'It is not something unimaginable. If you look at the world today, it is polarised. If you want to make an issue of something, you can easily do it. It is possible. Many people have done it before and will continue to'.
Abhay further said that social media and technology have made information so fast, and also misinformation at so many levels. 'There is this tendency to reduce things to a headline,' he added.
However, he feels that in the future 'we will laugh at ourselves for such trends and stupidity'.
On the work front, Abhay will next feature in Netflix's web series 'Trial By Fire'. It also stars Rajshri Deshpande and will release on January 13.
