Actor Annu Kapoor was reportedly admitted to Sri Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi on Thursday morning after he complained of chest pain. According to hospital authorities, the actor is stable and recovering now.
According to the news agency PTI, Dr. Ajay Swaroop, the chairman at Sri Ganga Ram Hospital, shared the health bulletin and said, 'Mr. Kapoor was admitted for a chest problem. He is admitted under Sushant Wattal in cardiology.
Annu Kapoor has won two National Awards - he received the Best Children's Film award for directing the film 'Abhay' in 1994 and won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in 'Vicky Donor'.
Besides being an actor, he is also a TV presenter and radio jockey. He hosted a singing-based reality show 'Antakshari' for 11 years- from 1994-2005.
Annu Kapoor's last appearance was in the 2022 web series 'Crash Course', in which he played the antagonist. He will next be seen in 'Dream Girl 2' alongside Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday which is scheduled to be released in theatres on June 23, 2022.
