‘Adipurush', starring Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon, is struggling at the box office. The Om Raut directorial, which collected around ₹260 crore in all languages in India in its first week, earned just around ₹3.25 crore on June 23.
'Adipurush', an adaptation of the epic Ramayana, has been criticised for its dialogue & poor quality of VFX. The controversial lines like 'Marega bete', 'Bua ka bagicha hai kya' and 'Jalegi tere baap ki' have now been tweaked by the makers.
According to trade analyst Sacnilk, 'Adipurush' earned an estimated ₹3.25 crore net in India on its eighth day in all languages. The mythological drama reportedly had an overall 11.20 percent Hindi occupancy on June 23.
Due to the drop in box office numbers, the makers are offering discounted tickets at ₹150 in selected cities.
Although it has been reported that several morning & evening shows got cancelled and now it remains to be seen if the film will show some growth in its second weekend or will the upcoming releases take over the theatres completely.
