‘Adipurush', starring Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon, struggled at the box office after facing massive backlash for it's dialogues and VFX.
Now, according to a report on Sacnilk.com, the Om Raut directorial has managed to collect ₹5.25 crores on its ninth day after earning ₹3.5 crores on June 23 which records its lowest collection till date. Its domestic total now stands to be around ₹268.55 crore in all languages.
‘Adipurush’ crossed ₹400 crore mark at the global box office within a few days of its release but it witnessed a massive drop as negative word of mouth spread on social media.
'Adipurush', an adaptation of the epic Ramayana, has been criticized by critics and the audience with many have expressing disappointment over the film's dialogues like 'marega bete (you will die)', ‘bua ka bagicha hain kya (is this your aunt’s garden)' and ‘jalegi tere baap ki (your father’s kingdom will burn)'.
Some of them have now been changed. However, it seems that it is too late to save the film.
