‘Adipurush', starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan, tanked at the box office after receiving criticism for its poor dialogues and bad quality VFX.
Now, ‘Adipurush’ dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir Shukla has issued an unconditional apology on social media, accepting that the film has hurt people's sentiments and that makers are completely responsible for the criticism they are receiving from audiences as well as critics.
He wrote ‘I accept people’s emotions have been hurt by Adipurush. With folded hands, I extend my unconditional apologies. May Prabhu Bajrang Bali keep us united and grant us strength to serve our sacred Sanatan and our great nation. #Adipurush,’
After his post went viral several users reacted to his message. One user wrote ‘Come on, better late than never. May Bajrang Bali give you power. '
After receiving negative reviews, the makers of ‘Adipurush’ altered some of the controversial dialogues. However, All India Cine Workers Association wrote a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Mumbai Police, demanding the registration of a case against the producer, director, and writer of the film.
‘Adipurush’ was released on June 16 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
