Prabhas and Kriti Sanon's ‘Adipurush’ is receiving backlash from audiences on social media for its cringeworthy dialogues and poor VFX.

Now, a complaint has been lodged against producer Bhushan Kumar & director Om Raut at Mumbai's Andheri police station by the president of NGO Sangharsh, Prithviraj Maske.

The complainant mentioned that portions of the movie allegedly offended Hindu sentiments. He mentioned that the way makers have shown Ram & Sita is not justified.

The complainant said that Ravana's Lanka appeared to be constructed of stones, when it was actually built of gold.

The letter further noted that Sita's birthplace was Nepal but the movie depicted it as India.
The complainant sought legal action against makers of 'Adipurush' for hurting societal sentiments.
