A new trailer of ‘Adipurush’ was launched at a mega event in Tirupati on June 6th evening. The event was attended by the film’s director Om Raut and lead actors - Prabhas and Kriti Sanon. Several pictures and videos from the event are being widely shared on social media. However, there’s one photo that has caught everyone’s attention.

A photo of Prabhas and Kriti Sanon greeting each other with a warm hug has fans gushing over the duo.

For the occasion, Kriti wore a brown saree, while Prabhas wore a white kurta-pyjama.

Dating rumours of Kriti Sanon and her co-star Prabhas have been doing the rounds for quite some time now. The rumours were further fuelled by Kriti’s ‘Bhediya’ co-star Varun Dhawan when he appeared on ‘Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa’ and said, ‘Kriti Sanon isn’t on the list because her name is written on someone else’s heart. There’s someone who is not in Mumbai and currently filming with Deepika Padukone, he is the one.’

At the time, Prabhas was shooting for ‘Project K’ with Deepika.

However, Kriti issued a statement later and dismissed their dating rumours. ‘It’s neither pyaar (love), nor PR.. our Bhediya just went a little too wild on a reality show. And his fun banter led to some Howl-arious rumours. Before some portal announces my wedding date - let me burst your bubble. The rumours are ABSOLUTELY baseless!’ she said.

‘Adipurush’ is an adaptation of the mythological story of Ramayan. Prabhas plays Raghav, Kriti stars as Janaki, and Saif plays Lankesh. The film also features Sunny Singh as Shesh and Devdatta Nage as Bajrang.

‘Adipurush’ will release in theatres on June 16, 2023.
