Actor Sharmin Segal, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's niece, who portrayed Alamzeb in his web series ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’, is being trolled on social media for her performance. Her co-stars have already shown their support, and now Aditi Rao Hydari, who played Bibbojaan in the series, has also come forward to support her.

Aditi slammed trolls and called them 'horrible and mean.'

During a conversation with journalist Puja Talwar, Aditi expressed her dismay at the situation. She said, 'It's horrible to pick on anybody. I know some people like something and some people don't. There is a way to say it. It can get very mean. It has gotten very mean and I think it's not fair and it shouldn't happen like that. I don't know what else to say, but I do feel bad. I think we should all understand it and be there for each other.'

'I also feel people do what they think is important to them. If some people want to be mean, that is their prerogative. We have to find a way around it, otherwise it will be really difficult. Whoever is facing it, I would just say, 'look at the positive,'' she added.

Shruti Sharma also slammed trolls

In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Shruti Sharma, who portrayed Saima, shared her thoughts on Sharmin Segal facing trolls. She expressed, ‘Honestly, I wasn't aware of people trolling her until now. I don't know what the audience liked or disliked about Sharmin, but I've seen her giving her best effort like everyone else on set. It doesn't matter who is being trolled; trolling is a bad thing.’
