This Independence Day, the box office will witness a mega clash of titans as multiple films are scheduled to release on that day, however, Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’ seems to be skipping August 15 release date. In the latest update, Ajay Devgn has revealed that the film is not ready yet and may not be released on August 15.
‘Singham 3’ is not ready yet and may not be released on August 15, Ajay Devgn said on Thursday while sharing an update on the next installment of the highly anticipated cop franchise. Titled "Singham Again", the film was earlier set to arrive in theatres on Independence Day.
"We are not sure. The work in the film is yet to complete and some shooting is left. We are not in a hurry as haste spoils things. When we are ready, we will decide ( the release date)," Devgn told reporters at the trailer launch of his latest "Auron Mein Kaha Dum Tha".
Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor and Tiger Shroff are the new cast members in the cop universe that features Devgn's ‘Singham’ movies, Ranveer Singh's ‘Simmba’ and Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘Suryavanshi’. ‘Singham' released in 2011, followed by ‘Singham Returns’ in 2014.
Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and John Abraham’s ‘Vedaa’ are all set to release on Independence Day. Besides, makers of Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’ have also announced the release on August 15, however, reports suggest that the audience may have to wait longer to see ‘Pushpa 2’ on the big screen. According to Telugu 360, the shoot for ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ was initially expected to conclude by June, but now the team needs an additional month to wrap up. Director Sukumar has redesigned some portions of the film and plans to reshoot them.
