Author-turned-actor Twinkle Khanna shared a sneak peek into her New Year getaway with her husband Akshay Kumar and their children, Aarav and Nitara, in the Maldives.  She humorously mentioned how she has performed her own ‘transmogrification’ by turning wine into cellulite during the family vacation.

The video starts with Twinkle's bike mishap and goes on to depict their New Year's Eve celebrations, appreciation of the picturesque surroundings, and swimming with fish in the Maldives.

Sharing the video on Instagram, ‘Aside from banging my wayward bike into a pole, this was truly paradise. It has also been a holiday where taking it a step further from Jesus who turned water into wine, I have already performed my own transmogrification by turning wine into cellulite:) Now let’s see if I can perform another miracle and reverse this situation (see no evil monkey emoji). If you have any grander resolutions feel free to inspire others by throwing them in the comments below.’

The video also includes moments of Aarav and Nitara observing a plane flying above the sea, the family underwater, and Akshay Kumar and Nitara at a New Year's party. It also captures Twinkle cutting a book-shaped cake placed beside her latest book, ‘Welcome to Paradise.’

A look back into Twinkle and Akshay’s 2023

The year 2023 proved to be a rewarding one for both Akshay and Twinkle. Twinkle successfully completed her Literature course at Goldsmiths University in England and also launched her new book, ‘Welcome To Paradise.’

Akshay, on the other hand, achieved a ₹100 crore hit with ‘OMG 2’ after a string of flops. He garnered acclaim for his recent release, ‘Mission Raniganj.’ The actor has been actively involved in multiple film projects, including ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ alongside Tiger Shroff, among others.
