Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha recently welcomed their first child, making them the newest celebrity parents in Tinsel Town. They broke away from the usual trend and shared a glimpse of their newborn baby girl on Instagram.

In a joint statement, the couple expressed, 'Doing a collab post to announce the biggest collab of our lives!! We've been blessed indeed. Our baby girl continues to keep us very, very busy. So thanks you all for your love and blessings.'

The announcement sparked an outpouring of love and congratulations from their Bollywood colleagues. Priyanka Chopra sent her warm wishes saying, 'Congratulations.' Dia Mirza expressed her joy, 'Only love always,' she said. Tabu celebrated with a series of red heart emojis. Konkona Sen Sharma warmly welcomed the newborn, 'Welcome to the world baby girl! You make it a better place.' Tapsee Pannu shared her happiness, exclaiming, 'Congratulations both of you. What a blessing!' Angad Bedi joined in, wishing them well on this transformative journey, adding, 'God bless and enjoy this new phase, it's the most enriching.'

In a recent interview, Ali and Richa shared their aspirations for their daughter's future. Ali articulated his hope for her to inherit compassion for nature, saying, 'I have seen things that I don't wish upon anyone. I have also seen some things that I feel have gone missing in the new genration and need to be reinstated. Our value system need to be carried forward. I want my child to have some level of compassion. I want a future where we have trees and clean air.'

Richa added 'I don't think any of ourkids will have a better life than we did. The rate at which we are destroying the environment, its not going to b fun for anyone. However, I have a lot of faith in Gen Z, Alpha, and their ability to dissect things like gender and climate activism. They inspire me. We are living through an event of mass extinction, deforestation, heat wave warnings, all over the world the tide is tilting towards authoritarianism. There's war and violence. I am hopeful for a better future but it's stupid to think that we don't have to work to do.
