Alia Bhatt announces ‘Jigra’ shoot wrap, shares candid pictures with co-star Vedang Raina

Actor Alia Bhatt is unstoppable. Busy with ‘Poacher’ promotions, the actor has a number of exciting projects lined up for 2024. One of them is Dharma Productions’s ‘Jigra’, which will hit the theatres on September 27, 2024. 

‘Jigra’ shoot wrap 

Announcing a shoot wrap on ‘Jigra’, Alia Bhatt took to her social media handles and dropped some candid pictures with her co-star Vedang Raina. She wrote, “Jigra oh... abki teri baari ho @vedangraina & that’s a wrap on #JIGRA @vasanbala @swapsagram See you soon... 27th September 2024 at a cinema near you.” 

Dharma Productions also posted the pictures of Alia and Vedang as they shared the news of shoot wrap. Their post read, “The ones that got each other’s back! And that’s a wrap on JIGRA! See you in cinemas near you on 27th September, 2024!” 

About ‘Jigra’ 

With Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina in lead roles, ‘Jigra’ is directed by Vasan Bala and co-produced by Karan Johar. The makers had earlier released a motion poster of the film in which Alia’s animated version is seen standing in the middle of a road. The voiceover in the motion poster suggests that the film is about a brother and sister. This would be Alia’s second production after ‘Darlingss’.  

Khushi and Janhvi react 

Vedang Raina’s co-star from ‘The Archies’, Khushi Kapoor dropped hearts on Alia’s post. Khushi’s sister, actor Janhvi Kapoor, also commented on Vedang’s post and wrote, “No one’s ready.”
