New parents Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were spotted in town by the paparazzi on Monday. Alia took a much-needed break from her motherly duties to celebrate the birthday of her sister-writer Shaheeh Bhatt. The 'Raazi' actor visited mother Soni Razdan's house for the birthday bash.

This is Alia Bhatt’s first public appearance post the birth of her daughter Raha. The 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' actor posed for the paparazzi stationed outside the house along with her mother.

Alia was dressed in a black T-shirt and blue baggy jeans. She had her hair neatly tied in a sleek bun and completed her look with hoops.

The cameramen complimented Alia on the name of her daughter Raha, to which the actor replied, ‘Bahut acha hai (It’s very good).’

Earlier in the day, Ranbir Kapoor was also spotted by the paparazzi outside his under-construction home. He was seen cycling around Mumbai streets on his e-bike. He donned a white printed T-shirt, jeans, and a blue cap.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed their daughter on November 6. They announced the name of their newborn daughter through an Instagram post on November 24 and explained its various meanings.

On the work front, Alia Bhatt will be next seen in 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’, co-starring Ranveer Singh. She also has 'Heart of Stone' alongside Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan in her kitty. The Netflix spy film will mark her Hollywood debut.

Ranbir Kapoor will next feature in Luv Ranjan's yet-to-be-titled film, co-starring Shraddha Kapoor.
