Alia Bhatt recently shared her diagnosis of ADHD (Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder) during an interview with 'The Lallantop'. She revealed that she often zoned out during classes and conversations, not realizing this was linked to ADHD.
Her friends, however, were aware of her struggles,“We always knew.” Alia expressed her surprise at the diagnosis, saying, “This is not some sort of revelation. But I didn’t know.”
She discussed moments when she feels most present: when she is acting in front of the camera and when she spends time with her daughter, Raha.
She said, “I understood why I am at peace in front of the camera. I’m most present in that moment.” She highlighted stating, “These are the two moments in my life where I am more peaceful.”
Earlier in September, Alia had also opened up about how her ADHD influenced her wedding preparations. She chose a natural and minimal makeup look because she found it challenging to sit for extended periods in the makeup chair.
Alia Bhatt’s latest film, 'Jigra', recently released in theatres.
