Actor Alia Bhatt celebrated her second wedding anniversary with Ranbir Kapoor on April 14. On the special occasion, she shared a romantic picture and a special animated image on Instagram.

Alia posted a black and white photo with Ranbir, likely taken at their post-wedding reception. Ranbir wore a black suit, while Alia donned a short silver Oscar de la Renta dress for the bling-themed event. The new, unseen picture shows the couple smiling for the camera in a close-up shot.

The following image was an adorable animated one featuring an elderly couple dancing on a rooftop under a starry sky. This appeared to be a nod to the Oscar-winning Pixar film ‘Up,’ released in 2009. Alia's post also included a song clip from the movie titled ‘Married Life.’

Alia wrote: ‘happy 2. here’s to us my love… today & many many years from today.’

Neetu and Soni Razdan wish the couple

Ranbir's mother, actor Neetu Kapoor, extended her wishes to the couple. She shared a picture from their pre-wedding festivities and captioned it with ‘Blessings’ accompanied by red heart emojis. Alia's mother, Soni Razdan, shared the official wedding picture of Alia and Ranbir and wrote, ‘Happiest Anniversary Darlings’ in the caption.

Alia and Ranbir have a daughter named Raha, born in 2022. After keeping her face hidden from the paparazzi and social media for over a year, the couple officially revealed her at the Kapoor family's annual Christmas lunch last year.

Ranbir and Alia’s work front

Alia's latest appearance was in ‘Heart of Stone.’ She is set to star in ‘Jigra’ next, followed by a reunion with Ranbir in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's ‘Love & War.’

Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’. He will next be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’, the shoot for which is currently underway.
