Actor Alia Bhatt has slammed a popular news portal for breaching her privacy. She called it as ‘gross invasion’ of privacy and shared that she was clicked while sitting in the living room of her house.
A news portal had shared pictures of Alia relaxing at her residence. Actor, who is seen donning a casual wear, can be seen looking at her phone.
Sharing the picture, the news portal also gave credit to the cameraman.
Resharing the post on her Instagram stories, Alia described the incident and tagged Mumbai Police asking them to take cognizance of the matter. She wrote, ‘Are you kidding me? I was at my house having a perfectly normal afternoon sitting in my LIVING ROOM when I felt something watching me.. I looked up and saw two men on the terrace of my neighboring building with a camera right at me! In what world is this okay and allowed? this is a gross invasion of someone's privacy! There's a line you just cannot cross and it’s safe to say all lines were crossed today! @mumbaipolice.’
For the unversed, this is not the first time the actor has called out a news portal. She had earlier slammed a news portal that claimed that she will be taking rest after completing her work commitments to focus on her pregnancy.
She wrote that, ‘Nothing has gotten delayed! No one needs to PICK anyone up. I'm a woman not a parcel. I do not need to REST at all but good to know you'll have a doctor's certification as well.’
Earlier, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had requested the paparazzi to not click pictures of their newborn daughter Raha.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt will next be seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky aur Rani ki Prem Kahani’ alongside Ranveer Singh. She also has her Hollywood debut ‘Heart of Stone’ alongside Gal Gadot in the pipeline. She was last seen in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva’ with husband Ranbir Kapoor.
